PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

Program A: Fight Less, Love More: 5-Minute Conversations to Change Your Relationship without Blowing Up or Giving In

A program for everyone who wants to keep their love alive and for parents who aim to be relationship role models for their children.

Falling in love is easy, staying in love is hard. It happens every day - a simple exchange or harmless response turns into a heated debate or worse, an all-out battle. If you're in a new relationship or in a good relationship that you want to make great or you're struggling and on the brink of separation or divorce, or you are a parent and you aim to display a healthy relationship role model for your children, then this program is designed for you. Participants will learn simple skills of a mediator to instantly turn overwhelming emotions into logical thinking, and move problems to solutions to enhance the appreciation, respect and understanding in their relationship.

Whether you attend alone or with your partner, this program will work for you.

Program B: Fight Less, Love More: The Key to Healthy Relationships
[This program can be customized for physician-patient relationships as well. More info. here.]

A program that promotes health and wellness.

How many times a week does your blood pressure rise in anger? Do any of your relationships with family, friends or colleagues stress you out? If so, it’s time to make a change. Your health depends on it. Conflict is a normal part of life, but when it turns negative and hostile, with unresolved issues and bad feelings in the air, it’s your insides that suffer. Research shows that among women who have had one heart attack, those in stressful marriages are nearly 3 times as likely to have another. New research also indicates that when conflict resolution turns negative, the immune system functioning decreases for both men and women.

This is why Fight Less, Love More is a vital program.  Using 5-minute conversations to transform conflict to cooperation, disrespect to respect and neglect to appreciation, you can use the power of your words to get what you want without-blowing up or giving-in. In minutes, you will learn how to navigate stressful moments to improve your health and your happiness.

Program C: Fight Less to Achieve Success

This unique professional and personal development program combines strategies from Ms. Puhn's two books, Instant Persuasion and Fight Less, Love More, to empower attendees with life-changing skills.

Your level of success at work, at home and in your social life is determined by your ability to inform, inspire and persuade others with the right words at the right time. Based on everyday experiences, this program teaches you simple step-by-step conflict resolution skills to turn conflict into cooperation as you achieve mutually acceptable agreements without blowing-up or giving-in.

If you want to avoid conflict or end a professional or personal dispute with your co-worker, boss, customer, client, family member, spouse or friend then this program will benefit you. Within minutes, you will be empowered with new communication strategies to create immediate positive change and provide you with long lasting skills you can employ when faced with conflict.

Program D: Fight Less, Love More Virtual Event

Join Laurie Puhn for an online video lecture based on the content of the national bestseller, Fight Less, Love More. All that is needed is internet access and a book. This is an excellent wellnewss program for a company to sponsor to strengthen their employees' communication skills and relationship health. Book clubs and organizations can also sign up for this one-of-a-kind entertaining and empowering program.

The Institute will provide attendees with 1) the password to attend the event, 2) the Fight Less, Love More worksheet, and 3) an "Ask Laurie" email address to which they can send questions and receive answers within one week of the event.

The lecture date(s) will be determined by each sponsor. Viewing will be exclusive to that sponsor at that time.
